Accreditation: What it is and how best to use it
There are certain groups you will want to grant access on event days that don't require seats or tickets, for example, staff and volunteers, umpires, media etc. You can create Accreditation barcodes so they scan in and you have clear data of who is on site!
IMPORTANT: Issuing Accreditation is considered to be similar to issuing tickets, and therefore a fee is incurred. The fee is $0.99/barcode uploaded per event*. This is billed to you post-event.
Example: if you have 100 Accreditation barcodes to upload, across 3 events, you will be billed $300.

- Select the Accreditation Type(s) you would like to add, and to which of your live events NOTE: Accreditations cannot be sent to draft events
- Accreditations will now be in the Attendee List within your event! (View this via Manage attendees > Attendee List)
IMPORTANT STEP:
In The Event - Enable Accreditation entry to events
- Manage Attendees > Event Access Control
- Tick the box(es) of the Accreditation type(s) to allow access to event
At The Event - Scanning in with the INTIX Scanner app
- Scan Accreditation ticket, or search by name and swipe in manually
You now have a clear view of who is on site at your event!
Deleting Accreditation Holders
If you no longer require certain accreditation holders to have access to your events, you can manage and remove their accreditation access from the list.
- Select the relevant list from the ‘All Accreditation Types’ dropdown.
- All accreditation holders currently allocated to that list will be displayed.
- You can remove accreditation holders individually by selecting the relevant person.
- To find a specific person, use the search function to search by name or email address.
- To remove multiple accreditation holders at once, select the checkbox in the top row above the list. This will select all accreditation holders displayed, allowing you to bulk delete them.
- You must type 'delete' in the field to confirm the deletion
- Notify Customers - this is switched on as a default and sends each customer an email letting them know their accreditation was cancelled.
Deleting Accreditation Types/List
To delete an accreditation type, you must first make sure there are no accreditation holders linked to it.
Follow these steps:
- Delete any accreditation holders associated with the accreditation type by following the steps outlined above.
- Once all accreditation holders have been removed, select + Accreditation Types.
- Find the accreditation type you want to delete in the list.
- Select the trash can icon next to the accreditation type.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Note: An accreditation type cannot be deleted while there are accreditation holders associated with it.
