Adding or changing the venue for your event
In the initial stage of creating an event, you will assign a venue.
Create your event:
- Log in to your INTIX Account > Host An Event
- Create An Event > Basic Info
Simply start typing the venue name into the venue field. If it is in our extensive database, it will auto-fill with the location information. You can change venues for your event at any time!
If it is not in our database, you will be prompted to "Add New Venue".
Add New Venue information fields:
Venue title - Enter the name of the venue
URL string - this automatically generates from the name you enter
Country, Suburb, State, Post code - copy/paste from venue's listed address
Latitude, Longitude - Open Google Maps, enter venue address. Click on address bar at top of browser. Longitude is first number after the "@" sign (i.e. -37.8199626) Latitude follows the comma (i.e. 144.9628499)
Click Create Venue to save. Your venue will now show on your ticket sales page.
NOTE: Your venue also displays in the INTIX app for your customers to navigate to your event with Google Maps!
