Image specifications are as follows:
- 2160 x 1220px
- or, aspect ratio 1.775:1
- PNG or JEPG
- under 500kb
DO NOT include text at the bottom of the image, as that gets covered by the ticket name and purchase button field:
VERY IMPORTANT to note when designing your banner: the display changes depending on what device someone is using to view the image (laptop, desktop, phone, iPad, tablet)
You want to centre the focus of your image, and leave a lot of padding around the edges of the image, to account for all scenarios. Some screens will crop the image, and all components will get shuffled around, depending on the device of the viewer. See examples of views on different devices below:
Phone - notice you can see the legs and feet of all the players?
Desktop screen - the legs and feet are almost entirely obscured, as the screen is very wide and not tall.
Laptop screen - You can see more of the legs of the players here, as the screen is a bit taller and a little less wide.
You cannot control for the devices people will use to view your image.
You can control the image that you design.
While designing, you can upload your image, and check it from the front end, to see where everything lands, and make adjustments accordingly.
Dashboard > click on the event URL in the bottom right of your dashboard to view the front end.
NOTE: If you need to change your banner, you can do so easily by replacing the current image and uploading a new one. If you delete the current image without uploading a new one, it will remain as the previous image - it will not allow for a blank space.
