Box Office door sales using INTIX POS (S700/S710)

Set up your INTIX POS device, connect it to your event, and start selling tickets.

Important set up notes:

  1. Before selling tickets using the INTIX POS for the first time, your venue(s) must be configured within your Stripe account. This one-time setup is completed by the INTIX team in conjunction with Stripe.

    If your organisation operates from multiple venues, please let your INTIX contact know so that each venue can be configured in Stripe. This ensures payments are processed correctly for every location.

    Note: Once your POS device has been configured for a venue, you won't need to repeat this process. The device will automatically recognise future events at that location.
  2. Before your first event, you'll need to configure your INTIX POS device in the INTIX backend. Here's how: Set up your INTIX POS device
  3. There are frequent software updates for the device, so be sure to turn the device on in advance of gates/doors opening to allow for any updates.

 

Get started

  1. Turn on the Stripe device.
  2. Connect to your Wi-Fi network.
  3. The INTIX Box Office app will launch automatically.
  4. Sign in using your INTIX account credentials
  5. Select your Organisation.
  6. Select your Event.
  7. Connect your card reader (S700/S710).
  8. Your ticket types will load automatically and you're ready to start selling.

Simple Selling Process

Important: POS devices receive regular software updates. We recommend turning the device on at least 15–20 minutes before gates or doors open to allow time for any updates to install.

Selling tickets with INTIX is quick and easy:

  1. Connect your card reader (S700 or S710).
  2. Select the ticket type and quantity.
  3. Select Pay.
  4. Choose the payment method:
    • Card
    • Cash (if enabled)
  5. Complete the transaction.
  6. Email a receipt to the customer (optional).

Option Description
Tap to Pay Accept contactless payments directly on a supported iPhone or Android device. No additional hardware required.
WisePad 3 Bluetooth card reader used with the INTIX Box Office app on a phone or tablet.
S700 / S710 Standalone Wi-Fi payment terminal running the INTIX Box Office app.
Cash Cash payments can be enabled for events. Contact your INTIX representative if you would like this option enabled.
