Add an embedded video on your Membership Home Page to engage members with promotional content enhancing the digital experience.

Embed Video in Membership Home Page

  1. Go to Organisation > Memberships / Season Tickets > Custom Pages

  2. Select Click Here to Add New Page
  3. Menu Text: title it as "HOME" (or your preferred title)
  4. Tab through fields to auto-generate Page Title and URL
  5. Add Page
  6. Your Page Title will now appear in light grey within the menu banner, select it to continue the set up.
  7. Set the page as a 'Home Page' 
  8. Video Banner URL: Allows you to display a short, looping video in the banner of a Custom Page, typically used on the Home page.
    • Upload an mp4 format video onto the internet somewhere, like your website and then get the URL for that file from https:// through to .mp4 inclusive
    • Note the video does flex size like the banner image in the background but suffice to say a landscape video will fit WAY better than a portrait video.
    • Note: INTIX will not store the videos on our site or file storage.
    • Note: If your video doesn't play on iPhone or other Apple devices, the issue is often related to how the video is hosted rather than the video file itself. Apple devices require the web server to support byte-range requests for video streaming. If this isn't supported, the video may not play even though it works correctly on other devices. See below for Technical Requirements (for web administrators).Here's How to do it:
  9. Visible to Public: Choose 'Yes' to make your Custom Page visible to everyone on your membership site. 
  10. Select Close

Technical Requirements (for web administrators)

If you're hosting your own videos, ensure your web server supports byte-range requests, as these are required for video playback on iPhone and other Apple devices.

Your server must support the following:

Setting Value
Accept-Ranges bytes
Range bytes=0-511999

If these settings are not supported, videos may not play correctly on iPhone or other Apple devices, even if they work on other devices or browsers.
