Understanding your Fees and Charge Rates in INTIX
There are no subscription fees for use of the INTIX platform. Instead all fees are collected based on your sales in the platform and will have a fixed cost based on your Charge Rates.
To view your Charge Rates head to Organisation Settings > Charge Rates.
Transaction Fee - Stripe
Transaction fees are the service fees charged by Stripe to process a payment. The percentage is applied to the total transaction amount, what is in the cart, + a per transaction fee applied once per transaction.
Transaction fees are absorbed by the event organiser as a default and can not be passed on. Please view the Pricing and fees by region section at the bottom of this article.

Your Fees Your Way: pass on OR absorb
For Event sales you can choose to pass on ticket fees to your customers on top of the ticket price, or absorb the ticket fee so the customer pays a set ticket price at checkout.
Ticket Fees are passed on by default.
Set your preference in Event > Payments & Tax > Payment Options
You are able to toggle between passing on or absorbing the ticket fee until you publish the event Live. Once the event is Live, you will not be able to switch.
Membership and Ticket Package fees
All fees for memberships and ticket packages are absorbed. View your membership charge rate in Organisation > Membership/Season Tickets > Payment Options
Understanding my Revenue in INTIX
Your gross revenue will reflect the entire value of sales while your net revenue will reflect your total sales revenue minus ticket and transaction fees. INTIX does not retain any of your revenue: your net is automatically directed to your Stripe account at the time of sale and you can determine when you receive these payouts from within your Stripe account.
You can view the bank account that your Stripe payouts are being directed to in Organisation Settings > Payment Information.
In Events the Sales Summary Report will assist you to understand your revenue based on sales payment methods. To access this report navigate to Event > Event Reports > Sales Summary and group by “Sales Channel” which will summarise your gross and net revenue by sales channel. Alternatively generate your INTIX Settlement to view a full settlement of any sales and fees in an event: to access navigate to Event > Event Reports > INTIX Settlement.
Memberships or Package tickets will display as having a $0 value in your events as they are paid through your membership portal rather than within an event.
To view your gross and net revenue on Membership sales, navigate to Organisation > Membership/Season Tickets > Reports > Sales Summary.
When am I invoiced for ticketing fees by INTIX?
You will be invoiced if you have completed a transaction that does not use the Stripe payment gateway and so ticketing fees cannot be collected at the time of purchase. Standard fees apply in this instance for both event ticket and membership sales.
Ticketing fees on $0 or complimentary tickets will be invoiced if you exceed your complimentary ticket allocation (Standard: 10%* of your venue capacity).
*Contracted clients have greater complimentary allocations - ask us how!
Pricing and fees by region
INTIX operates across several markets, and fee structures can vary depending on the event, organiser and local requirements.
Australia: Event organisers are responsible for determining how applicable ticketing and service costs are incorporated into their pricing. From 1 October 2026, transaction fees for Visa, Mastercard, American Express and eftpos payments will no longer be permitted under the relevant card-network rules. Card processing costs may instead be incorporated into the overall price of the ticket or service. Other types of fees, such as booking or service fees, are not automatically prohibited by these changes and remain subject to applicable pricing and consumer-law requirements.
United Kingdom: Mandatory fees must generally be included in the total price presented to customers upfront. This includes mandatory per-transaction charges that a customer must pay to complete their purchase.
United States: For live-event tickets, businesses must generally disclose the total price upfront, including mandatory fees that are known and can be calculated at the time the price is displayed. Certain charges, such as taxes, government charges, shipping and optional services, may be treated differently under the applicable rules.
New Zealand: Ticket sellers and event organisers must provide clear and accurate information about ticket prices, fees and the terms of sale. Customers should be able to understand the total cost and any applicable fees before completing their purchase.
Because requirements can vary by market and event, the fees displayed during checkout are the most accurate representation of the amount payable for a particular ticket purchase.
