Password protect your tickets

You may want tickets, or certain tickets, to only be accessible to a select group of people and not the general public.

  • You may want to run a presale campaign, publish the event privately, and issue a password to a select audience before opening to the public for your general on-sale.
  • You may want a particular ticket type to remain behind a password while other types are available to the public

Whatever your reason, you can password protect tickets in a few easy steps!

  1. Log in to your INTIX account > Host An Event.
  2. Tickets > Select Ticket Category you want to password-protect
  3. Advanced Settings > Enter your custom password in the password-protect field

Examples of password protect scenarios (images below):

  • Password protected Presale
Make sure each of your other tickets pricing options are set to: Visibility: Hidden.
Publish your event!  Only your password field will show on the ticketing page.
When the customer enters the password, that ticket category will appear.
(when presale is over and you want the other tickets to display, set the pricing options to Visibility: Visible)
  • Certain Ticket Categories password protected in general onsale
Put a password on the chosen ticket category
All ticket categories will be visible on the ticketing page except the password-protected one
When the customer enters the password, that ticket category will appear in the list of tickets.
