Processing complimentary tickets for events
Issuing Complimentary (or $0) tickets is key to event management ie. a sponsor, a prize, parents of a player, or guest of an artist. Each ticket draws from your overall ticket capacity, for attendance reporting and operational security.
See instructions for GA, and Reserved Seating below.
Issue a Complimentary ticket for General Admission:
- Log in to the INTIX Dashboard > Host An Event
- Manage Attendees > Add Atendees
- Select the type of ticket(s) to send > Continue
- Enter info: recipient's email address and name
- Select method of payment = Complimentary > Checkout
You will now see the order! See screenshots below for an example.
NOTE: if you are sending out a batch of comp tickets to a club or company, note that the limit to send PDF tickets is 8. If you need to send more than 8, your options are:
- send them the full number of tickets following the steps below, and the recipient can download/print/forward them as needed
- break it up into separate batches of less than 8 tickets and send PDFs directly.
Manage Attendees > Add Attendees
Enter recipient's info > Checkout Option menu
Checkout Option menu > Complimentary
The recipient will be notified by email that they have been issued a ticket. Retrieval is as follows:
If they have an account:
- Log into their INTIX account, and view/print/download the ticket
If they have never used INTIX before:
- They go to INTIX.com.au > enter their email address that the ticket was sent to
- Select "Forgot Password", and follow the prompts to create a new password.
Once logged in, the ticket will be there to view/print/download. And now they have an INTIX account!
Issue a Complimentary ticket for Reserved Seating:
- Log in to INTIX > Host An Event
- Manage Attendees > Add/Move Atendees
- Select the seat(s) > Checkout
- Select method of payment = Complimentary > Next
- Enter info: recipient's email address and name > Add Customer
