To use the WisePad 3 card reader make sure you live in a supported country and meet the requirements.

 

Supported countries for WisePad 3

The WisePad 3 card reader is available for purchase and use in the following supported countries:

  • Australia

  • Belgium

  • Canada

  • Czechia

  • Denmark

  • Finland

  • France

  • Germany

  • Ireland

  • Italy

  • Luxembourg

  • Netherlands

  • New Zealand

  • Singapore

  • Spain

  • Switzerland

  • United Kingdom

Note: If your event isn't based in one of the supported countries, then you'll need to consider alternative card readers compatible with INTIX Box Office.

Requirements for using the WisePad 3 card reader

To use the WisePad 3 card reader, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You need to use the INTIX Box Office app.
  • Your event's physical locations need to be based in a supported country for INTIX Box Office where the WisePad 3 is available to purchase.
  • Your event's currency must match the local currency of your event's location.
  • Your event currency must match your INTIX Payments payout bank account currency.

Compatibility requirements for POS devices with WisePad 3

You must use a compatible iPad or iPhone that is running iOS 15.1 or higher, or an Android device running version 10 or higher. Either type of device must support Bluetooth 4.2 or higher.

INTIX POS iOS and Android device compatibility requirements

INTIX Box Office is available for only iOS and Android devices. It's not available for laptop or desktop computers, or Amazon Fire tablets.

INTIX Box Office works with devices that meet the following requirements:

Android Phone or tablet running official Android version 10.0 or higher, with Google Play Services and Google Mobile Services activated

INTIX Box Office no longer supports iOS 14 or lower. With older versions of iOS, you can continue to use the app but you can no longer update it. To take advantage of bug fixes and new features, you need to update your device to iOS 15.1 or higher. If that isn't possible, then switch to using INTIX Box Office on another device that is running iOS 15.1 or higher.

Note

Some INTIX Box Office features, such as Tap to Pay, might require newer devices or newer operating system versions. Keeping all operating systems up-to-date is strongly encouraged to ensure the best security for your data.

INTIX Box Office doesn't support beta operating systems. For security, INTIX Box Office isn't supported on operating systems modified through "jailbreaking", "rooting", or other similar techniques, and requires a locked and unchanged bootloader.

You should only obtain INTIX Box Office from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store directly.
