Adding a Ticket Category to your event

Ticket categories are your overall sections with their own capacities. (i.e. General Admission, VIP section, Members section)

Pricing options are within each ticket category
(i.e. Adult, Concession, Child)

To create a ticket category follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your INTIX account > Host An Event
  2. Tickets from the left side menu > Create Ticket
  3. This is your Ticket category. Enter the name and capacity for this category. This header is not visible on the ticketing page, this is for your internal reference.

Note: There are the initial settings for the ticket category, and advanced settings below. Have a look around to familiarise yourself with these customisable features!

  • Each pricing option draws from its category's capacity
  • We recommend repeating the Ticket Category name in the pricing option title, so that it is visible on the ticketing page
    i.e. General Admission - Adult, General Admission - Concession, General Admission - Child
    VIP Section - Adult, VIP Section - Concession
  • We also recommend adding the ages for adult and child tickets, ie "Adult 16+ years" or "Child 3-15 years"
