Cancelling an individual ticket from an order

A Super Admin may need to cancel an individual ticket from an order. Whatever the reason, INTIX has made it simple and easy!

Log in to get started:

  1. Login to INTIX:
    AU - intix.com.au
    NZ - intix.co.nz
    UK - intix.co.uk
    US - intix.com
    > Host An Event
  2. Manage Attendees > Orders
  3. Enter the email address or name of order.

In the order:

  1. Click the "X" to the right of the ticket you want to cancel
  2. In the pop-up window, fill in the reason for canceling, and select/deselect whether you want to notify the customer, and/or refund the ticket
  3. Fees - note that this refunds the customer the ticket price, but not the Stripe fee or the INTIX fee. These are non-refundable*.

NOTE: You may need to refund fees at times, but keep in mind that this comes out of your own payouts, as Stripe and INTIX fees are non-refundable.
To refund fees: In the order, click the link "View in Stripe" > directs to Stripe transaction > Click refund

NOTE: Once you have cancelled a ticket you cannot undo the action and will have to reissue a ticket if you've cancelled it by mistake. Check how to issue complimentary tickets here.

You can choose whether or not to notify the customer of the cancellation and refund. You can also just cancel the ticket without refunding. (See tick boxes in image below)
