Organisation Basic Info

1. Log in to your INTIX Account

AU - www.intix.com.au
NZ - www.intix.co.nz
UK - www.intix.co.uk
US - www.intix.com

2. Select your Organisation
3. Go to Basic Info

General

Your core details, and how your organisation is described publicly.

  1. Trading As - the name your customers see. It can differ from your registered company name, so a club or venue can trade under the name people actually know.
  2. Company your registered legal entity name.
  3. Business Number - your ABN, NZBN or company number, depending on your country.
  4. Country and Timezone - these drive your currency, your tax defaults and the times shown on your events. Set them correctly before you build events.
  5. Website and Privacy Policy- both appear on your public pages.
  6. AI Discovery - Learn more about AI Discovery here, including how it helps customers discover your events through AI-powered search and recommendations

Tax

Default tax behaviour for customer-facing transactions. This is read-only. Your default tax treatment for customers, applied to new events so you are not setting it each time. Here you will find:

    1. Default Tax Title — for example GST or VAT.

    2. Default Tax Rate

    3. Default Tax Exclusivity — whether your prices include or exclude tax.

    Brand Identity

Your logo, background and favicon as they appear on public pages.

    • Logo: 500 × 250px

    • Background: 2160 × 1220px

    • Favicon: 200 x 200px

    Branding & Integrations

Connect tracking, set your accent colour, and configure point-of-sale options.

    • Background Colour — set as a hex code, and used across your public pages and emails. It cannot be set to white (FFFFFF), as your text would become unreadable.

    • Facebook Page ID and Google Tag Manager — connect your own tracking and social presence.

    • Cash on Box Office — allows your staff to record cash payments in the INTIX Box Office app. Any payment taken as cash is invoiced after the event at your applicable charge rate. Note: This one is enabled by INTIX rather than by you, so speak to your Account Manager if you need it. Read more about it here: Process cash sales using Box Office

    About

Create an About page to showcase information about your organisation. This content is displayed on your organisation page alongside your live events and memberships, helping customers learn more about your organisation before purchasing tickets or memberships.

    Related Organisations

Child organisations connected to your account, and where you add a new one. This suits a venue with several resident clubs, or a governing body with member associations, where each needs its own page while rolling up to a parent.

    AI Discovery

More people are discovering events by asking AI assistants the same way they would ask a friend, for example, "What's on near me this weekend?", "Are there any family events in my area?", or "What concerts are happening next month?"

AI Discovery allows AI assistants to access your public event listings, making it easier for your events to appear in relevant recommendations and search results, with a direct link back to your organisation's event page.

More visibility, with no additional effort, here's how:

    • Another way for people to find your events: Your events can be discovered by people searching for things to do, even if they don't know your organisation by name.
    • No additional setup required: Your existing public event listings are used automatically. There is nothing extra to create, upload, or maintain.
    • You keep the customer journey: Customers are directed to your INTIX event page to complete their purchase. Your existing checkout process, fees, reporting, and customer records remain unchanged.
    • Only your existing public information is used: AI Discovery uses the same information already available on your public INTIX event pages and visible through other search engines.

    What information is shared?

AI Discovery only uses information that is already publicly available on your event page, including:

    • Event name
    • Event date and time
    • Venue and location details
    • Ticket pricing and availability
    • Event images and descriptions
    • A link to your event page

    What information is not shared?

    • Customer, member, or attendee information
    • Sales data, reports, or financial information
    • Private, Draft, or password-protected events
    • Any information behind a login or related to payments

Note: If an event is not publicly visible on your INTIX page, it will not be available through AI Discovery.

    Disable AI Discovery

    • Navigate to Organisation > Basic Info > General, scroll to AI Discovery > select Disable to turn off AI Discovery.

    Enable AI Discovery

    • Navigate to Organisation > Basic Info > General, scroll to AI Discovery > select Enable AI Discovery to turn it back on.

Note: The setting applies to every event under your organisation, and you can change it whenever you like. You do not need to contact INTIX either way.

    Common questions

    Is this safe?
Yes. Only information already published on your public event pages is used. No customer data, no sales data, and nothing private leaves INTIX through this setting.

    Could it cost me sales?
No. It is an extra way to be found, not a replacement for anything. Anyone who finds your event this way is sent to your own page to buy, so the booking, the fees and the customer record all work exactly as they do now.

Will an AI make things up about my event?
Assistants are given your real, current event details to work from, which is the best protection against a wrong answer. We cannot control the exact words an assistant chooses, which is one more reason to keep your event details accurate and up to date.

Do I need to do anything?
No. It is on by default and there is nothing to configure.

What if I change my mind?
Turn it off in Basic Info at any time. Refer to 'Disable AI Discovery' above. Your events stop being made available to AI assistants from that point.
